About Us
As a psychiatric nurse for more than 28 years, Annee’s experience has primarily focused on chemical dependency, trauma, dual disorders and relapse prevention. This experience has enabled her to work with clients suffering co-occurring issues of abuse in childhood and mental disorders.
Annee is also a recognized artist and Life Purpose Process Coach. She facilitates groups in expressive arts and coaching in treatment centers and with individuals with a emphasis on addiction recovery. She enables clients to make art as an intervention for symptoms of post acute withdrawal, to process emotions and as a source of self discovery.
Connie has been a recognized leader within the field of substance abuse treatment for over 23 years. This includes founding and developing WomanAlive, groups for female perpetrators of domestic violence, often with histories of substance abuse. This was to follow after she developed and facilitated Napa County, California “Drug Court”. She has presented at CAADAC/NAADAC conferences as well as nationally published articles describing her five deployments assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina. She continues to primarily work in the substance abuse field. This is her vocation and her passion.
